Match report Warriors won the toss and elected to bat. Anil and Murali opened the bowling and their openers started to heave any ball they could get hold off and hit some boundaries, before Murali got hold of a good catch. At 10 overs break their score was 76/1. After that our bowlers really bowled to plan and fielding, never gave width nor any extras and contained the batsman. Fielding was also very good as we never dropped a single catch. Very good catches by Sharath, Sandeep, Murali, Raj. Bowlers never allowed their batsmen to get going and at second break they were 126/4 and third break 178/5.
After the last break an excellent run-out from Sandeep through a good pick and direct-hit on the wicket. Then started a dream spell from Sharath, when he took 4 wickets in 4 balls( ala Malinga Style).
All four were clean bowled. First hat-trick for WCC. They folded for 183 inside 35 overs. Very good bowling effort from all the bowlers to restrict Warriors.

We were confident of chasing the target of 184 on a ever fast outfield of MT with an asking rate of around 4 runs per over. Sameer and Palash opened the innings. Honestly not a great report for our batting and nothing more to write for our batting report as we were down by 8 wickets in the 13th over with a score of around 40 runs. Batsman after batsman either poked at deliveries or either tentative or were not confident. Ravi(23) and Anil(15) combined aggression and patience to stitch a good partnership of around 50 runs to take the score to 98, before a horrific and very poor umpiring decision from Garnet cut short Ravi's batting and gave him LBW for a leg-side bowl. Both the batsman were confident that they can pull of a win without any issues. And then we were folded up for 106 runs.
